So far to good…This will be the second consecutive day I have updated. Still have no pictures but not because I forgot my camera, apparently when it doesnt get used, in oh say forever, the battery goes dead. Of course I am not one of those people that plans ahead and buys batteries when they arent needed so I will have to go by the store and pick some up. Pictures will come (I promise) prob tomorrow because LB’s birthday is tomorrow and I have to go to the store to get a card so Ill get batteries as well, otherwise it could have taken a few days as it always takes me forever to want to stop by a store. It seems as though I cant hold on to money very well so I try to avoid stores like the plague.
Enough about that.Lunch yesterday was very delish. I had a brocoli/cauliflower pasta that I love so much. I simply steam the brocoli and cauliflower and mix it with a little EVOO and cooked WW pasta. I also had some very ripe strawberries and a sour green apple cliff twisted fruit bar. That thing was amazing! I read about it on someone elses blog and just decided to try it. Boy am I glad I did because it was fantastic and only 70 cal. It was like the perfect little sweet for after lunch.
Dinner yesterday went well. I have been trying to work on portion control because that is a HUGE struggle for me. It always seems to be that I eat as if I will never again have the opportunity to eat another meal. Its terrible and I need to get it under control. For dinner we went over to Bill and Rebeccas so that I could get my state taxes finished up and mailed off and they asked to stay for dinner, which was very sweet of them and a common occurance for us. Yes I did wait until 2 days before taxes were due to get someone else to do them for me. And yes I am a humungous procrastinator. Anyways about dinner, I had 1 hotdog (beef…yeah I know, couldve been turkey) a scoop of potato salad (which was amazing), and prob a little more than 2 handfuls of chips with some french onion dip. Not the healthiest meal, but again portion control. I feel like I couldve eaten worse but I knew it wouldnt be terribly healthy and so I worked on the portions.Yesterday afternoon I was a little snack machine. I nibbled on numerous little bites of this and that all afternoon. Not to much stuff, but none the less still nibbled.
Iwill say this for yesterday. I did meet all of my vegtable and fruit requirements, which is also a huge accomplishment. I didnt have that date with running. My game even got canceled. For some reason though, I have had absolutly a ton of stuff to do lately. I did go home and cook dessert for tionights family dinner, clean the house, and fold and put away about 8 (yes 8!) loads of laundry. So at least I didnt just sit around all afternoon. This afternoon I have a game to umpire as well, but the teams suck so maybe if Im lucky the game will get cancelled and since I already have running clother with me I can go to the track. I promise I will update my about me and put some pictures up prob this weekend. I just need a few days to catch up when a long list of other things that I have to do first. Not that this isnt important, but I am pretty sure I dodnt have any readers/followers yet.
Breakfast today was good. I had a small bowl of shredded wheaties, the plain kind with nothing on them. I also had a bannana and a rather large bowl of strawberries- larger than normal only because it was either eat them or throw them away. I dont think they wouldve survived another day. Ok well I off here for now. Got to get to work…until later, PEACE

Well as promised here I am as promised on this rainy Monday morning. Im kind of proud of myself for actually getting on here and blogging about my breakfast. This morning I made Spicy Oats, from the reciepe courtesy of greendog wine’s blog. I actually really really loved it! I could have added a little more hot sauce but since it was my first try at it, I thought I would take it easy on the sauce just to be sure I didnt ruin it for future breakfasts. I actually am extremly full and am very sure I will make this everyday until I get sick and tired of it! I dont have a picture of it because I, like greendogwine, also made mine at work and got a very strange look as I made it. I also left my camera at home so there wont be any lunch pictures either. I am suppossed to umpire this afternoon, but as of right now its not looking as if there will be ANY outdoor activites performed today. This makes me a little worried because my boyfriend, who Ill call LB, works outdoors and when they get behind on the work, they have to work on Saturdays and we have plans for Saturday. Anyways I hate to cut this blog short but today is a lab day here at work and we havent started it yet. My plan for this afternoon is if my game def gets cancelled and its still raining I will have a date with the treadmill at my apartment. Should the rain stop, Ill let the sidewalk take me for a date!

So I know I started this blog sometime ago, but I got really busy and was not able to post anything I ate or did this last week. Literally, all I did was work, eat, umpire, and sleep. I had 7 games last week all of which put me home later than normal. That being said, I also did not eat very healthy at all because of my busy schedule I couldnt make it to the grocery which put me eating out a lot this past week. I am however going to be able to get by there tonight and I already have my list made out with tons of healthy options so this week will make for better eating. I think I am going to challenge myself to not eat out at all this week. I am not very fond of eating out, not only because I like knowing what is going into my body but also because it is so very expensive. Another added plus is that I work in a very small town (and by small I mean all 3 restaurants dont even take visa…like cash only!) so since I ate out all this last week I wont even want any take out. Anyways starting tommorrow there will be way more up to date posts with healhty non- take out food and a lot of pictures! Also I will have some extra time to post pictures and update info and all the other snazz that comes with a fantastic blog. I have been reading all the millions of blogs out there so I have been getting plenty of ideas, now if i can just figure out the technical parts. Oh well….until tommorrow! Happy Easter!

So this will hopefully be my last attempt at successfully maintaining a food and exercise diary. I have done a little researching on the internet and after careful consideration and reading, I have decided I will try this website. I have really become interested in some of the other daily food and exercise blogs on here and as soon as I figure out how to add them to my blogroll I surely will. Should anyone actually read this and you know how to do it please help, it def would be appreciated.
I know this is technically my first post, but tommorrow I will get back on here and update more info about myself as well as enter my first breakfast picture and food info.
